Sportage Hybrid questions & answers
No. The Sportage Hybrid combines a turbocharged petrol engine with an electric motor. Its battery charges while you drive, including when slowing down and braking. Simply fill up with petrol—there’s no need for a home charger.
Both models share the same 1.6-litre turbo hybrid powertrain. Exclusive adds leather upholstery, a panoramic sunroof, powered front seats, a hands-free powered tailgate and wireless phone charging. It also adds a 360° camera, blind-spot camera, lane keeping assistance and forward collision avoidance.
Routine servicing is similar to a petrol vehicle, including engine-oil and filter changes, alongside checks of the hybrid system. The Sportage Hybrid comes with an 8-year / 160,000 km battery warranty and a 5-year / 100,000 km vehicle warranty.
