Niro Hybrid questions & answers
No. The Niro Hybrid combines a petrol engine with an electric motor and charges its battery while you drive, including when slowing down and braking. Simply fill up with petrol—there’s no need for a home charger. This combination helps the Niro Hybrid deliver excellent fuel economy.
Both models offer the same hybrid powertrain. Exclusive adds black leather upholstery, powered front seats with adjustable lumbar support, a sunroof, 18-inch alloy wheels, rear AC vents, wireless phone charging and LED fog lights. It also adds Forward Collision Detection with Autonomous Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Safe Exit Warning, and blind-spot and rear cross-traffic detection with collision avoidance.
Routine servicing is similar to a petrol vehicle, including engine-oil and filter changes, alongside checks of the hybrid system. The Niro Hybrid comes with an 8-year / 160,000 km battery warranty and a 5-year / 100,000 km vehicle warranty.
