EV5 questions & answers

Where would I charge my EV5?

At home—simply plug in while you’re parked, including overnight. Our current offer includes a home charger and installation by our electrician. Installation is covered up to a set cost; unusually long cable runs may require an additional payment. A 110V charger that plugs into a standard household outlet is also included at no additional cost.

How often would I need to charge?

The EV5 offers a listed range of up to 400 km for Base Light and 550 km for Mid Wind. Charging once or twice a week should be enough for most drivers in Trinidad. Your routine will depend on your mileage, driving conditions and how much charge you add each time.

Is the EV5 expensive to service and repair?

Electric vehicles generally need less routine maintenance than petrol vehicles, with fewer moving parts and no engine-oil changes. We currently offer free service packages on our EVs for a limited time. The EV5 battery warranty is 8 years / 160,000 km.
